About Klánovice

Klánovice is the most eastern district of the Czech capital, Praha. It is located about 20 kilometres from the city centre, in the middle of the largest forest in Prague environs from time immemorial called Vidrholec. Since its foundation, Klánovice is known as a popular summer resort of Prague citizens. Garden and woody plots are typical for Klánovice.

About 2600 inhabitants live in Klánovice, most of them in one-family houses. Many buildings are worth seeing in Klánovice. There are several edifices on the Slavětínská street which have been built in the end of the 19th century and have saved their original appearance. Also many other houses constructed both between the wars and recently are remarkable.
